“Hey I’m Holly, if you haven’t read the book called ‘Meet the Garden Gang’ we suggest that you read it before reading this book it will make it easier to understand this book and it’s got some great facts about me and my team. “ Hey I’m Holly this is Reb and John. Today we have been travelling and we’ve just arrived in Spain and gone through security and now we waiting for some friends to pick us up.”
“What time did they say that they would be here?” asked Reb,
“umm they said they would be about nowish,” said John, “and here they are now.”
“Ok kids I’d like you to meet my very good friends, Roberto, Elberto, Sarah and Hola.”
“Hola we are John’s best amigos,” said Sarah,
“si we’ve been friends for soo long,” agreed Hola.
“Right so standing here talking is’t going to get you to mi casa is it,” said Roberto,
“Si, we must get you home,” agreed Elberto.
At the house.
“Home again, home again,” said Roberto,
“your house is lovely,” said Holly,
“yes it is,” said Reb.
“Right lets get some sleep,” said John,
“yeah let’s uhh,” yawned Reb.
“Good night,” said Holly,
“GOOD NIGHT,” say the friends.
“Good morning,” yawned Holly, { as she walked into the room}
“Morning,”said Reb,
“good morning Holly,Reb,” said Sarah,”sleep well,”she asked,
“yes we did thank you,” said Holly.
“What a lovely morning,” said Reb,
“si it is,” said Hola’
{walking in from the kitchen} “te gusta some breakfast,” she said.
“Oh yes please,” they said,
“right then if you can go and wake up John, I’ll get the boys,” said Sarah.
A few minutes later.
“Right so shall I say grace,” said Roberto,
{As he sat down at the table.}
“thank you for the food we are going to eat,thank you for your gift of your son and please help us to tell of your love, Amen.”
Breakfast was Spanish tortilla.
“Thank you so much for the amazing breakfast,” said Holly,
“yes thank you,” said Reb, “but may I ask how you make this?”
1 lb (450g) potatoes pealed and thinly sliced
1 1/4 cups +two tablespoons of olive oil for frying
1 medium onion thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
6 eggs
“Thank you.” Said Reb,
“de nada,”said Hola,
“right so I’ll get the tea on and then we can talk,” said Hola
“ok then,” said Sarah.
“Right so how do you usually start your day?” Asked John,
“we usually start by reading a bible story,” said Roberto,
“what bible story are you reading today?” Asked John,
“well today we are reading John 3:16,” said Elberto,
“ok shall we read it,” said John,
“si ok,” said Hola.
“‘For god so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”, read Roberto,
“good job it’s a nice verse,” said Reb,
“yes it is,” agreed Holly.
“So were are we going today?” asked John,
“we’re going to the sea side,” said Sarah,
“YAY!” Shout the girls.
On the way to the beach they played lots of songs and the girls danced along.
“Here we are,” said Roberto,
“Hooray!” shouted the girls.
At the beach they had fun in the sand and they walked around the village.
They had a great rest of their week and now they’re going to meet some friends who will take them to France.
“Thank you so much for letting us stay at your house”, said Holly,
“De nada, you’re welcome”, say Sarah and Hola, “thank you for coming”,
Hopefully we will see you soon”, said John,
“Si, see you soon and may God go with you”, said Roberto,
“Adios”, say Roberto, Elberto, Hola and Sarah,
“Good bye”, say John, Reb and Holly.
